Try looking up for such places and plan a low budget trip once in a while so next time you feel like taking a trip but your finances seem to hold you back, use one or any of these tips so that you don’t deprive yourself of the ultimate joy of travelling.

  • I can plan for weeks a head of time. My best advice is to create a tripadvisor plan, a little map of locations you want to visit and plan days that flow better to save you missing anything. That way you can find the cheapest restaurants at that side of the island/resort on the spot (as you already have them mapped out).

  • I love this! I travelled around Europe earlier this year, and I never realised how cheap it can be! Using Skyscanner, Flixbus and cheap hostels really made a big difference! 🙂 xx

Couldn’t agree more on this. I guess I will add to check on group tours as well to save on tours as it is much cheaper when you are in joined tour.

  • Super tips, these (except for the gambling suggestion – that’s not for me thanks!). I love budget travel; youth hostels and camping are a great way to keep costs down too.

  • I think planning in advance is the most important tip so that you think about where you really want to spend your money and prioritise!
