Some of the Best Locations for Your Thailand Vacation

I have an insatiable wanderlust. Join me on my current wanderlusting adventure. Come along and let me show you some of the best locations for your Thailand vacation.
Nestled between Burma, Laos, Cambodia, and Malaysia to its northwest, northeast, southeast and south respectively; and surrounded by the Adaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand, in its southern regions, Thailand is a country brimming with culture, food, and of course, gorgeous beaches! With 3,219 km of its 514,000 square km being coastline, one of the main attractions to Thailand is you guessed it, the beaches!
If you’re like me, and want to take a holiday in a quiet oasis then Khao Lak in Thailand’s southwest coastline is right up your alley. With a ban on over-development set in place, and some of the most pristine beaches Thailand has to offer Khao Lak is the place for tranquillity and a true sense of relaxation. Of course, if you’re looking to inject a bit of adventure between dips in the sea, there are many activities that you can take part in ranging from diving in some of the top destinations in the world, to taking in the sights whilst sitting atop an elephant!
Best Locations for Your Thailand Vacation
Looking for a bit more of an adventurous time in Thailand? Then Phuket is where the fun happens! With a sense of nightlife entirely different than the nightlife we may be accustomed to in the west, this party town has a concept of partying that will be a welcome change for those looking to turn things up a notch whilst on holiday. Of course, it’s not all night life in Phuket, with even more beaches for you to dip your toes into, you can also take in many of the sights it has to offer like the temples, parks, and forests that are abundant in the region.
Of course, I couldn’t mention Thailand without focusing on its capital, Bangkok. The sprawling metropolis doesn’t lie far in comparison to top global cities like London, New York, and Paris. With a population of over 14 million people in its metropolitan area, Bangkok offers a wealth of art, sport, culture, food, tradition, and more shopping than you can shake your credit card at.
Whether you’re looking for culture, nightlife, or to lounge around on the beach, this list of some of the best locations for your Thailand vacation can offer all that and more. The wisest thing to do to make your dream of taking  is to do your research, and plan ahead. All inclusive holiday makers like First Choice can offer custom holidays to meet your lifestyle, needs, wants, etc. and that can make the difference between a dream holiday or a nightmare vacation.

I was supposed to get down to the island Koh Tao and do some diving (already qualified!) and conservation but I literally got stuck up in Chiang Mai for a week and a bit longer than planned – so beautiful and calm up there!

You've just gained a new follower :* I love your blog so far!

  • You know, oddly enough, I've never really wanted to visit other countries. I've wanted to travel to the other side of the country, but that was all. It's only now that my mind is being open to what else is out there, and the beauty that lies in so many places.

Thailand looks beautiful, and somewhere that I never thought that I'd want to go. You've changed that!

  • Thailand is indeed a beautiful country to visit – it's not for no reason that Bangkok constantly ranks as the top destination for Singapore travellers 🙂 In my opinion, the best reason to visit Thailand – the people. Personally, I have found that the service staff in Thailand to be some of the most sincere and helpful folks in the world.

Lust away and I hope you'd get to visit soon!
