Book as Much from One Vendor as You Can
Find someone who offers invitations, lighting, flowers and rentals. If you do, you may be able to get a discount by getting all of those things from one person. This may leave you with more room for negotiation, but it will also make things easier on you. Especially since you won’t have to run around finding, and then talking to different people.
Show, Don’t Tell
Vendors are not mind readers. Which is why it’s so important that rather than telling them what you want, you actually show them. This is especially so with what you wear, such as these beautiful high neck wedding dresses. The reason why this is very important is that there are countless shades of the same colour. And if you don’t show what particular shade you’re thinking of, there may be confusion. You certainly don’t want to walk into your wedding venue and be shocked by the colours used. Or by any other piece of decoration.
Raw Footage and Quality Backdrops
Professional wedding videos are incredibly expensive; we know it. If you feel like you can’t afford to pay for one on top of everything else you’re paying, be sure to hire someone to capture raw footage. The great thing about this option is that you will have your precious memories stored somewhere. Plus, when you do end up with enough money, you can pay someone to edit that footage. Using an attractive backdrop can really help to make your photos even more precious.
Have Someone to Answer Vendors’ Calls During the Big Day
If your vendors run into any issues, they are going to call you to get your opinion on what to do. In theory, this is a great idea, but the problem with it is that you are already going to be incredibly stressed by everything else that’s going on. With this in mind, it’s very important to find someone who is willing to answer all of those calls and deal with them for you during the wedding. Make sure to give that person’s number to your vendors in advance, so they’ll know who to call.
Go to Sleep Early the Night Before
The first thing to do when it comes to enjoying your wedding is to make sure you go to bed early the night before. It may take you a bit longer to fall asleep since you’re going to be extremely excited. However, if you make sure to head to sleep a bit earlier than you normally do, you’re going to have a big chance of getting lots of sleep, so you’ll have loads of energy for the next day.
Three Pairs of Shoes
You’re going to be on your feet a lot during your wedding, whether it’s standing, walking or dancing. If you’re planning on wearing heels, consider also bringing along a pair of wedges and flats. While you may think that this is too much, your feet are certainly going to thank you when they’ll need a break.
Prepare Your Dress and Accessories
We’re sure you don’t want to spend your wedding morning desperately running around to find your shoes or jewellery. To prevent this, the best thing to do is to make sure that you have everything nicely laid out the night before. This includes your dress, accessories; (shoes, jewelry, lingerie, garter) and anything else you’re thinking of having on you on that special day. It’s also a good idea to have a small clutch ready with a few essentials, such as mints and lipstick.
Eat!
You’re probably going to feel very nervous and anxious in the morning, and you may feel tempted to skip breakfast. However, this is a huge mistake, as you’re going to need to have something in your system to keep you going until you have another chance to grab a bite, which may be quite a bit later in the day. Don’t go for greasy foods, since these are only going to make you feel worse, and that’s the last thing you want. Enjoying your wedding day also means feeling healthy!
Armed with these tips, you’re sure to have a beautiful, happy and even relaxed wedding day. After all, it’s a day for celebrating love and enjoying your wedding, not a day to run around feeling stressed about everything that’s going on.
