So, it got me thinking. If the kids love the Easter basket idea then maybe the adults would too. Which is exactly why I’ve compiled an Easter gift guide full of quirky and unique gift ideas so we can leave the chocolate egg behind and move on to something with a bit more oomph! These items are brilliant for an Easter basket and just as good as a standalone little gift.
Easter Gift Ideas – Miniature Spirits
Let’s just get straight to it, shall we? Lots of people give up alcohol for lent so why not enjoy a little tipple once it’s back on the menu? If you have a gin lover in your circle JustMiniatures is the site you should log onto. From the staples like Bombay Sapphire to Beefeater Gin, to flavoured gins like rhubarb and ginger there’s a lot of options. I’m not gonna lie, I would buy them just because I love all things miniature and the bottles are too cute. If there’s someone that doesn’t like gin you can also tequila, Irish whiskey, and even wine.
Easter Gift Ideas – Fragrance
Fragrance. Unfortunately, smelling good doesn’t make you edible, but that doesn’t really matter. Who wouldn’t want to get a miniature scent like this for Easter, or anytime really. Better yet, a full size perfume at the end of lent would make me an ever so obedient Christian. Kidding. But really, you can’t go wrong with a nice perfume as a special gift.
Tech Gear
I can spend all day writing about my ever increasing wishlist of gizmos and gadgets but I’ll stick to my favourites. Rose gold is a blogger favourite, and even though it may be quite a cliche at this point in time, it’s still a beauty to behold. Some Beats headphones in rose gold for those times we need to zone out, and a Kindle for when you just want to get lost in one of your favourite reads. Speaking of blogger favourites the Sony G7X is still a firm favourite for some good shots and blogging and I know that I just have to have it this year! And to help you organise your life why not an Amazon Echo Dot? I’ve heard it’s fab and so useful.
Chocolate
Ok, and if you’re still keen on chocolate why not go all out and opt for the some delicious chocolatey favourites? Sure, I haven’t included any Cadbury’s Creme Eggs but you can’t go wrong with some Ferrero Rocher, Lindt, or even some posh Neuhaus choccies.
So there you have it, don’t you think that it’s worth taking a little break from the typical egg at least for one year?
