When it comes to photo prints and canvas images there are so many companies to choose from; but how do you know you are not only getting the best value for your money, but also the best quality product? I’d like to think that us bloggers can provide you with some useful advice on that front. Which is why it’s great to be able to share more about brands with you! One of the brands that I have been working with recently is My-Picture.co.uk. First, we launched a fab giveaway for £50 to spend on the site, and now I want to delve into a My-Picture.co.uk review.
If you want to get those photos off your phone and put them on your walls or in your photo albums, then this review is definitely one you’ll want to read!
First Impressions
I have worked with printing companies in the past, and to be honest I hadn’t seen such a big selection of products as I have on this site! Don’t get me wrong, it’s been fine and fit for purpose; but sometimes you just don’t know what you want until you see it, does that make sense? There are certain photos I want printed but not sure if I want a square image, rectangular canvas prints, or even a mug.
I navigated the site, which was simple to go through, and placed my order. Usually, the entire process can be quite daunting overall. I found the uploading process to be quite quick. And I didn’t have to wait too long for my images to be uploaded to the site.
There was one strange thing that happened though – when I uploaded some images I was given notification by the system that the quality of those photos wasn’t the best for the product I wanted to print on. Completely understandable, as they were photos taken from my mobile. So, that was fine, and dandy. I selected a different photo and different product, but I still got the products that were seemingly not good enough to print. I found this strange, but ultimately, I don’t think the quality is low and love the results!
Anyway, despite the vast selection of goodies I chose my products for this review (which were kindly gifted by My-Picture.co.uk, thank you again) and here is what I chose!
Framed Photo Prints
I like a good canvas print, but I already have quite a few around my house. Because of this, I opted for some gorgeous framed photo prints instead. There’s just something more grown up about having some gallery framed photos hanging in your home, right?
I chose 3 small square 20×20 square prints of some of my favourite photos of some of the kiddos in our family. One of those is a photo of my 15 yr old step-son, a photo of our twins’ 8th birthday, and my absolute favourite photo that I have taken of my nephew. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the memory card with photos of my niece to hand, but will definitely get her up on our wall too!

Seriously, I can’t tell you how happy I am with my prints. I chose this size for a couple of reasons. Firstly, to test out the quality of the frames and the prints themselves; secondly, to test out an Instagram photo gallery wall. I am so pleased on both fronts! For now, my photos are in my bookcase. But when I am ready to hang them I can use the hooks provided with my order.
I chose the vintage silver colour, which is such a beautiful matte mixed metal type of look. It matches perfectly with some of my other frames. The other colour options are white, black matte, walnut, and oak.
I will definitely purchase more of these frames! I love the idea of using my travel images as art throughout our home, I really like the fact that the colour options will help things look bespoke throughout and not generic. This is definitely a great way to showcase your special photos and memories.
Personalised Photo Towels

I knew that I needed to take advantage of this collaboration to choose a fun photo print. Which is exactly what I did when I chose 2 personalised beach towels for the twins. I thought it would be fantastic to get them excited for summer 2020.
These are the photos that I was told by the system wouldn’t be good enough for printing; but they came about absolutely lush! The quality of the printing is very good and there is no strange pixelation, just a beautiful image on a towel. There are parts that may look like they aren’t printed on, but that’s only because of the way the fabric is moving.
I seriously can’t tell you how soft these towels are! The terry cloth is said to be fast drying which is perfect for a kids beach towel. If there is any change in the print I will update the post accordingly.
There you have it, that’s my experience with My-Picture.co.uk and I hope you’ve enjoyed this My-Picture.co.uk review. I must say it’s been a very positive one so I hope my My-Picture.co.uk review is helpful to you. My next project is to print out all (or most) of the photos off my phone. I want to make scrapbooks or photo albums, so it’s good to know they do photo prints as well. If you are looking for personalised photo prints I can’t recommend them enough!
Also, you’re in luck! If you’re into free stuff then you may have seen our giveaway where we gave a lucky winner £50 to spend on their site. Don’t worry – if you missed the giveaway you can check out our giveaways page to be in the loop.
