With my beloved USA under the political microscope it is easy to forget just what a wonderful country it really is. The States have so much to offer, and there are some beautiful places to explore. Sure, there are many destinations that Brits tend to frequent – Florida, New York, Las Vegas; but there are also some less popular places that are just as beautiful! If you have ever thought about being a bit more explorative with your holiday time, Maryland is a state that many people don’t talk about enough anymore!
If your neighbours are Washington D.C. and Pennsylvania you may tend to fly a bit under the radar. Maybe The Wire has a little something to do with it? Either way, there are so many things for you to do in the beautiful state of Maryland, whether you are taking a family holiday or just want to go exploring on your own. Enjoy the winter for what it is, a beautiful white canvas, ready for painting your lovely adventures on. Here are a couple of choice places to go in Maryland on your winter break.
