The weather is getting colder and every time time temperature changes, it’s time to sort out our wardrobes. While it can be fun to have a look and see what we have in our wardrobes for the current and upcoming season it’s also a good idea to figure out what we need before the temperature drops. Has it happened to you that you wait until the first freeze and end up ill prepared? Yeah, it’s happened to me too! That’s why this year I am sorting things out well in advance. After all, given the current state of affairs something we have more of is time. I’m partnering up with Protest Sportswear who have just launched their new collections to share with you my Fall/Winter 2020 Protest wishlist! Who said that sportswear can’t be fashionable? Let’s delve into this years’ offering.
There’s also a discount code at the end of the post for you so do keep reading!
The Fall/Winter 2020 Collection
The fall/winter collection is made up of an array of items ranging from street wear to snow wear and from men’s ski jackets to women’s ski trousers. There’s a bit of a variety in the products they provide, but what I really like is that as a brand, they are focusing on actively becoming a more sustainable brand. Pair that with beautiful designs that can be worn daily and you have a winning combination.
The collection is composed of different colours and patterns so there’s a bit of something for everyone. Today I’ll be sharing with you some of my favourites and pieces that I would definitely wear and that can easily go from the slopes to the streets.
Pretty in Pink + Leopard Print
Give me pink and leopard and I am happy! I know this is definitely giving you some Carole Baskin vibes, but how can you not like it? From pink ski jackets for women to all things leopard print the look is quite fun and youthful.
If pink and leopard isn’t for you, you can also opt for black jackets with leopard patterns to give the more monochromatic look some fun.
Black + White
You can’t go wrong with black or white or the colours together! I like the chic simplicity of this black jacket with a chain pattern. doesn’t it remind you of a pattern that is often seen on designer clothes?
And of course, a simple colour block jacket in black and white is something you can’t go wrong with.
Bright + Neon
If you want to add a bit of colour into your winter wardrobe then Protest offers that, too! My absolute favourite item from the collection though is the first jacket pictured below.
The colour is gorgeous and the black details are beautiful, too! The belted effect is also quite flattering, which I do like!
Why Choose Protest
I could tell you more in my words, but here is a little excerpt from their site:
“Within our women’s collection we have a new range called PVRE Green. The PVRE Green series is a combination of our PVRE range and sustainable production. We are taking this range of superior, functional clothing and making it sustainable. Clothing in this series is made using recycled fabrics, like nylon, polyester and TPU. In an effort to limit the damaging effects that PFC’s have on our health and on our environment, we are using a biodegradable PFC-free finish. Keep a look out for the PVRE Green hangtag!“
Check out the site for more info on their mission and of course, the beautiful gear! You can also find men’s fleeces, kids clothes, and and a variety of active wear.
