Spring Homeware Wishlist (throws, cushions & more)

Howdy lovelies! I know it’s not quite Spring yet, real proper Spring, but fingers crossed that Spring will creep upon us sooner than you can take off your Winter coat. I for one, have commenced with my Spring cleaning and have been getting rid of as much clutter as I can, and as the saying goes, out with the old and in with the new. I’m quite desperate for Spring you see, as I was lucky enough to already experience it whilst in the States, so all I care to think about at this moment are my my current favourite colors – grey, white, and pink. There’s nothing better than updating your bedroom with a few lovely new bits to get you ready for the season. Of course, when the skies are still grey out all you want to do is inject a bit of colour to make your bedroom bright and ready to welcome the season. In my case I don’t want to do much of a complete overhaul, but add some bits and pieces that I think will not only complement my bedroom, but serve a different function if I ever want to put them in any other room in the house.

Spring Homeware Wishlist (throws, cushions & more)

I’m a cat lady, so adding a touch of feline-inspired decor was certainly something that I have been wanting to do. When I came across this absolutely gorgeous cat cushion from M&Co. I knew it would have to go in my bedroom, either on my comfy leather chair, or my bed. What’s a pillow without a throw you ask, and I couldn’t agree more. This comfortable bedding by Yorkshire Linen Mink Faux Fur Throw find is not only a perfect companion to the cushion, but screams cosy and soft.  I absolutely love how soft this looks, and love that the colour is more of a silver than a grey, which gives it a touch of luxury. I don’t like undoing my bed during the day so this throw will work for those days when you just want to curl up and watch some TV. I firmly believe that it’s all in the details, so having this lovely set of 3 grey photo frames from Next to add some photos for a personal touch is a must. Who said grey was a boring colour?!

I love the simple and clean feel that white exudes, and have been a fan of white linens and duvets for as long as I can remember. I normally keep the basics white as snow, but when I added an absolutely lovely decorative filigree glass dome to my Amazon wishlist, I knew it had to go on this wishlist as well. I still don’t know what I would store in the dome, but it’s far too lovely to not own! I’m not normally one for plaques, but they’ve been growing on me, and this Sass & Belle plaque is an oh so lovely accessory.

One of my favourite things to do with home decor, aside from being able to redecorate with items that I’ve had elsewhere in my home, is to repurpose items. This Creative Tops Retro Treats vintage style treat jar would be a lovely dressing table addition, and would look sweet as candy filled with lipglosses, mini nail polishes, or even to store and display your beauty and perfume samples. In this sweet light pink, you can fill it with just about anything! Lastly, it wouldn’t be Spring without flowers, and even though I prefer going for real flowers, this lush Faux Fuschia Peony arrangement from Joss & Main is well, lush.
