So much can be said about us by our decor. Sure, our interiors don’t define us, but they can be a great way for us to show off what we are dreaming of, thinking of, and even our state of mind. Since we all love to be surrounded by beauty, we knew it was time to get our interiors up to date with a spring wall art update in collaboration with Desenio.
We were given the chance to choose some lovely wall prints to give my flat a makeover. My flat is being painted at the moment, which is both a bummer, as I can’t show you the prints on the wall and a good thing as this means that my new prints will look even more stunning when it’s all done. I will definitely update the post!

I planned and chose my pieces carefully to go with the makeover that I will be giving my flat once it’s ready. It was so simple to use the site, and it was full of so many great pieces. It was actually quite difficult to decide, as it is easy to spend hours browsing the site. I really liked that there was a gallery wall tool to help you plan out how your gallery wall would look once you chose your prints.
I tried the tool, and some of the sizing of the prints that I chose didn’t work out completely, so I decided to forsake going for a gallery wall, and decided to get a few prints to put in different rooms of my flat.
The site is simple to use, and has so many varied pieces that you will find something no matter your tastes. I also bought the frames off the site with the credit I was given, so all of my prints are now framed and ready for the moment they go on the wall.
The variety of the colours of the frames is good too, so you can find a way to have your pieces stand out amongst your existing decor.
Let’s take a look at the pieces I chose, and I hope that you are inspired!
Bedroom – The Great Wave of Kanagawa

Commonly known as “The Great Wave” or “The Wave” this is an iconic, and possibly the most recognisable Japanese art piece in the world. I can’t even begin to tell you how long I have wanted this print. Many are mistaken that it’s a painting, but it’s actually a wood block print. The print is not a stand alone piece, but 1 of 36 prints created to showcase Mt Fuji from different angles, during different seasons, and in different scenarios! How iconic. And since I dream of seeing Mt Fuji with my own eyes one day, I thought it would be great to have this in my bedroom as I am going to be adding touches of blue and white to it. I chose a white frame for this print and even though maybe a coloured frame would have looked better, I like how the print is the focus here.
The Living Room – Tropical Retreat

I have been looking at flights to the Caribbean and dreaming of a tropical paradise escape. Since that’s not feasible at the moment, what better way to transport myself there than with these arts prints. These will be in plain sight in my living room and ready to be admired. I can’t wait to put these up on the wall and transport myself to a tropical paradise.
I chose oak frames to give the images an even warmer look, and think they look stunning!
Home office – London Calling
For my home office I just had to go with a more minimal approach and lots of white space. I typically go for very feminine colours in my home office or home office space, but for this makeover I wanted to keep things clean and minimal, at least for the walls. As I knew that I would later be adding more details to the walls and items that were busier.
London is one of my favourite places in the world, and I knew that I had to bring it into my wall decor. I chose this close up of Tower Bridge and one of The London Eye. Two places that are iconic in London, and iconic worldwide.
So, there you go! What do you think of my choices?
