Florida’s tropical and subtropical climates, and beautiful coastlines, attract so many. But what is it really about Florida that attracts us? And what does Britain’s favourite Florida holiday really consist of? For my visual folks I have attached an absolutely brilliant infographic created by Ocean Florida based on results from surveys taken by previous Ocean Florida customers.
Britain’s Favourite Florida Holiday
The Basics
On average a family of 4 made their way to the sunshine state. They flew from one of the London airports to Orlando International Airport. With, you guessed it, Orlando, being their final destination. The customers usually flew using Virgin Atlantic. Unsurprisingly, many booked their 10 day (on average) holidays on 31 January to be taken on or around the 18 August.
Where to go
This part is quite simple, really as we all know what there is to do and where to go in Florida – amusement parks! The mouse house won hands down as Walt Disney World Resort was named the most popular theme park. Speaking of houses a Disney area executive villa was the most popular type of accommodation.
So there you have it! Have a look at the infographic and save it on Pinterest for later! I, for one, am ready to get in my 7 seater hire car and make my way to the beautiful sunshine state. Oh, and I have heard that visiting the Orlando International Premium Outlets are a must visit on a Florida holiday.
