collaborative post
I can bet you that you’ve heard of Boohoo.com before, but have you heard about the launch of Boohookids? Yes, Boohoo has now launched a kids range! As a bit of a change from the usual on the blog, I have decided to share with you a different type of post today and focus it all on the kids’ fashion.
One thing you may not know about me is that I am a very proud (step) mama to 3 great kids. Two of those who happen to be my 5-year-old twin girls. The girls have always been into all things fashion and have been loving playing with my makeup and jewellery since before they could talk! Now that they are 5 they are even more vocal about their fashion sense.
One thing that I do differently from many other twin parents is giving them the opportunity to pick their own clothes and not dress matchy-matchy. Their personalities are unique and I love letting them choose how to express them with the way they dress.
On this occasion though, they both selected a couple of identical pieces from the Boohookids range but styled them completely differently. The new Boohoo Kids range is fun and showcases a lot of “mini-me” versions of current styles that all currently all the rage. Favourites include slogan shirts, cold shoulder tees, matching top and legging sets, and fun shoes. My sense of style tends to be more basic and streamlined, and it seems as though that has rubbed off on them with their selections.
The girls chose a very light pink flared skater skirt, a pair of black leggings, and a pair of gorgeous glitter ballerina shoes each. We paired our new Boohoo finds with some favourite wardrobe staples from Calvin Klein.

One of the girls paired her black tights, and pink flared skirt with black and silver ballerina flats, a white slogan Calvin Klein shirt and replaced the Calvin Klein jacket that comes with the original outfit with a fuzzy white gilet.
Whilst the other one chose the silver Boohoo ballerina flats and used the black glitter slogan Calvin Klein shirt and pink quilted jacket to complement her look.
I liked the versatility and mix and match the appeal of our picks and I like that they are affordable and versatile. The girls can easily shed the tights and wear the skirts during the warmer months as well as the ballerina flats. The quality of the items is decent and you can easily pair them up with branded items as we did and give the items a different look.
Would you shop the Boohoo kids range? Do you prefer to see twins matching or showing their own style? I’d love to know!
