4 Super Fun and Simple Ways to Document Your Travels

When you’re traveling (or just on vacation), you want to create some fantastic memories. While you’ll have the memories in your head, it’s always great to have some physical reminders of the fun you had too. Document your travels is a fun thing to do during your journey, and it’s a way to have something you can look back on when you get home. Here are some of the ways you could do it.

Keep a Travel Journal

People have been keeping travel journals for a long time. In the modern age, you could do it the old-fashioned way with a notebook, or you can keep a blog. Your choice might depend on how much you want to share with other people. If you want to keep things more personal, a notebook is easier to keep to yourself.

Make a Video Diary

If you’re not much of a writer, but you like to be in front of a camera, consider making a video diary. It’s a great idea if you want to share your travels on social media or tell friends and family about your experiences. All you need is a phone with a camera, but you could use a proper video camera if you want. This is also a great way to have home videos to look back on. They may all be digitized now a days, but you can either keep your memory cards for each trip as is, or make DVD’s of your travels.

Buy Souvenirs and Keepsakes

Collecting keepsakes and souvenirs along the way is another good idea. You can have anything from ticket stubs to things you find in local markets. If you’re a collector or ticket stubs then you can pop them into a scrapbook to keep things organised and easily accessible.

Take Photos and Selfies

Don’t forget the ever popular practice of taking photos. Photographs of the places you visit and of you visiting them will always be fun to look at and share with others. For my visual learners I have a great infographic to share with you that can help you up your selfie game. Check it out!
