The day, also known as Mothering Sunday, is a day to celebrate all mama’s and mother figures. I, for one, am really excited to be able to spend part of Mother’s Day with my darling little ones. As you may already know, I’m a proud step mama to 3 and I’m looking forward to spending a day full of cuddles and love.
I am also an expat, which means that I won’t be celebrating Mother’s Day with my own mum as the day is celebrated in May in the US.
Since most of your mama’s are probably here in the UK with you I thought it was perfect to help you find the perfect gift for your mum by sharing with you a last minute gift guide by compiling some of my favourite treats!
Mother’s Day Gift for The Mum Who Loves All Things Beauty
All mum’s can use a little pampering and there’s nothing better than enjoying some new and deliciously scented products. This lovely duo is made up of liquid soap and a hand cream which sound quite basic, but mum will definitely appreciate anything with a nice scent.
Couple that with cute packaging and you’ve got a win! If you’re looking to score bonus points with mum then consider packaging that sort of gift in a lovely tin just like the Blooming Lovely tin below – add some chocolates and wrap in cellophane and you’re good to go.
The tin will also double up as somewhere for mum to store anything from flower bulbs, to her secret chocolate stash, or anything she can think of!
If your mama loves taking care of her locks then this amazing Ubuntu Oils hair straightener and flat iron is a perfect addition to her beauty regimen. I’ve been raving about Lee Stafford products lately because what’s not to love?! Not only are the irons aesthetically pleasing, but they are also nourishing for the hair, and you can’t go wrong with that! This is definitely a gift mum would love.
If you want your mum to have something that not many other people have then this Brightening Eye Serum from new kid on the block Oyster Skincare is definitely something to consider. Formulated in British Laboratories this premium skincare brand brings all the goodness of plants and is jam packed with active ingredients to make mum’s skin feel and look refreshed.
For the Jewellery Loving Mama
Ted Baker is an iconic British brand, but have you considered their jewelry? If you haven’t you should! This exquisite rose gold Ceanna Gem Cuff Bracelet is one to love. Crafted with Swarovski crystals, and in the ever popular rose gold this cuff bracelet is a piece of cosmetic jewelry that can be both dressed up or down and one sure to become her favourite!
For the mum who loves to buy things for her home instead of for her herself then a lovely addition would be a candle. There are so many scents and brands out there and you can choose from old favourites like Yankee Candle or opt to spoil mum with a more distinct scent. I’m loving this Voluspa limited edition candle – with the scent of lily, spring moss, and orchid this is definitely going to ensure that mum feels spoilt rotten!
For the organised mum you can’t go wrong with stationery, and you definitely can’t go wrong with Kate Spade. There is a plethora of Kate Spade stationery, but this compact floral notebook is perfect for mum to chuck in her bag and go. Keeping her both organised and stylish at the same time.
Which of these amazing gifts would you consider for your Mother’s Day gift, and which ones would you just love to have for yourself? Do let me know and I hope you have a great Mother’s Day!
